Media Production is a field I started out in "way" back in 1962. What started as a fluff-job of coordinating (now known as Styling) McAlpin's Fashion Board models and Bob's Gal Fridays for the shows soon turned into a passion.
While working on The Bob Braun Bandstand TV show and The Bob Braun Radio show
in Cincinnati, Ohio I learned from the Master.
Bob made the work look easy and quickly taught me how to create an on-camera presence. If there was a way to cover your mistakes, Bob knew them and was quick to share them with me.
Back then the camera's were the size of Kansas, the shows were live and
left zero margin for errors. Yet, errors there were - actually lots of
them. I have always said that I received my BS (that BS has nothing
to do with Bachelor of Science) degree in performing from
Mr. Bob Braun.
The lessons learned during those years have served me throughout life. No matter what the turn of life has taken, his lessons have been the foundation of my success.
And now...46-years later I am at it again...
A few years ago Barbara Bryant asked me to be a guest on her radio show and we had so much fun, that single appearance turned into a friendship. When Barbara decided to go into production with her new CW network morning talk show, the Barbara Bryant Show, she asked if I would be willing to help her with it. Of course, I jumped at the chance.
I just completed a 13-week contract as Associate Producer.
